Delaware County Youth Orchestras Announces the Auditions for the 2024-25 concert season
Auditions are now live for the Delaware County Youth Orchestras 2024-25 concert season. Students may audition for Delaware County Youth Orchestra, Young Musicians’ Orchestra, or Young Musicians’ Band.

A new ensemble opportunity for intermediate musicians –
The Young Musicians’ Band
The Young Musicians’ Band (YMB) is a concert band for intermediate students of all ages, performing standard original works and quality high-school-level arrangements. Students from all geographic areas are welcome to audition. The ensemble holds rehearsals on Thursday evenings from January through April at Strath Haven Middle School in Wallingford, Pennsylvania.
Jason Majerczak is the conductor and artistic director of YMB. Mr. Majerczak is the Instrumental Director of music at Drexel Hill Middle School. In that position, he oversees the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra.
In 2020, Mr. Majerczak was proud to be selected from over 3,500 candidates as a top ten finalist for the teacher of the year from the Grammy Foundation.
